A Whole New World (partial)--June 14, 2009
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:17
I apologize that the sermon was only recorded once it had already begun. The first part was about the common translation of this verse to be "If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation." and we showed a clip from Toy Story 2 where Woody is cleaned up, fixed up, and repaired to be "Just like new." I mentioned this is how we often see what it means to be a "new creation in Christ" (which is certainly a true and valid understanding) but then then moved to what might be a better translation of this passage.
